Water Fountains
Notice how nice the "white" fountain is compared to the "colored" fountain.
Employment
As you can see, many jobs were only offered to white people.
Schools
Many whites refused to go to school with black students.
The Laws
“It shall be unlawful for a negro and white person to play together or in company with each other in any game of cards or dice, dominoes or checkers.”

“Separate free schools shall be established for the education of children of African descent; and it shall be unlawful for any colored child to attend any white school, or any white child to attend a colored school.”
—Missouri, 1929
Other examples:
-White and blacks couldn't drink out of the same drinking fountain.
-White and blacks couldn't shop at the same stores.
-Female white nurses couldn't take care of a black men.
-White and blacks couldn't play pool together.
