ANNOUNCEMENTS for Week of April 29-May 3, 2019
INTERIM REPORTS FOR TRACKS 1 AND 2:
Interim Reports For Tracks 1 and 2 go out on Tuesday, April 30. Be sure to touch base with SpEd Case workers if you have any SpEd students.
REPORT CARDS FOR TRACK 4:
Report Cards for Track 4 go home this Friday, May 3.
LEADERSHIP TEAM MEETING:
Leadership Team Meeting is this Thursday, May 2 in the Media Center.
PANORAMA EDUCATION FAMILY SURVEY CONTINUES: IF you have not sent out a message to your students' parents as indicated in the email last week, please do so and cc lfricke@wcpss.net so that you can be "checked off." We need to make sure all parents receive the information.
END OF YEAR PDP and SUMMATIVE EVALUATION/CONFERENCE INFORMATION - Thank you to all of you that turned in your information to us so that we could complete you summative evaluation information. It is a lot of paperwork and there are many aspects of the process, and having information from you helps make it less tedious. Thanks again!
DREAMBOX WINNER:
Mrs. Gainey'a class had the highest average weekly lesson completion during the period of the challenge, along with a high percentage of active students. Her class averaged 10.3 lessons/week and had 96.1% active students, both of which are great to see. Her class will win a pizza lunch, courtesy of Dreambox to be scheduled in May. Way to go Mrs. Gainey's class.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 1, 2019- If you will be away from school on Wednesday, May 1st, make sure that you follow Kaye's instructions/email about leave forms prior to your absence.
EVAAS Roster Verification Window:
As mentioned in my 4/25 email EVAAS Roster Verifications window started on April 20 and ends on May 17. Thanks to those that have already completed theirs. If not complete please complete ASAP. If there are any questions please touch base with Kevin. Here is the FAQ sent in the original email.

Digital Assessments For Module 4
To reiterate the email that Kayla sent out, EL Digital versions of EL Assessments for Module 4 are now available in Canvas for grades 3-5. To access these assessments, teachers should login to Canvas using the blue Canvas icon in the WakeID portal. (Please note: End of Unit Assessments for Grade 3 Units 2 and 3 and Grade 5 Unit 1 are performance based. Therefore, they are not available in Canvas.) If you have further questions see Kayla when she returns on May 6.

DUTIES for April 29-May 3, 2019 Track 3 OUT
AM Hallway: Blocker (Help greet parents/students, check with Ms. Person to see what is needed at the visitor sign-in tables or the carpool tag/ transportation table.)
AM Carpool: Newman BE SURE TO PUT CONES OUT NEAR THE ENTRANCE AND TO MOVE THEM AFTER CARPOOL. Also put two cones at the top of the carpool lane to prevent cars from going around other cars.
AM Breakfast: Brown
AM Bus: Lavin (Write down arrival times of buses. Work with others to disembark students, trouble-shoot issues.)
PM Hallway: Schreier/(Barber from carpool if needed) (Check all students for tags in the bus line. If a student does not have a tag, inform Fricke and Ms. Britt ASAP.)
PM Carpool: Bednar/Rabby (Outside) Garrett/Barber/Biles (Inside) MAKE SURE CONES ARE NEAR THE ENTRANCE TO CARPOOL. *Ms. McEwen is unable to do carpool this week.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TWO PEOPLE ARE OUTSIDE AT ALL TIMES. If someone is absent, someone from inside should go outside to make sure things are covered.
Freer (Call carpool numbers. Do not call a number if parents do not have a tag. Those parents should park and come into the building OR you can provide a tag. This includes all grade-levels.)
PM Bus: Daniel (Call one bus at a time. Write down arrival times. Work with Fricke to trouble-shoot, solve issues.)
