Photosynthesis
By: Alison Wamsley period 3
Explanation of photosynthesis, and how plants get food.
Photosynthesis is when a plant makes in own food (a producer). It gets energy from the sun (radiant energy) and carbon dioxide (CO2) to make glucose (C6H12O6) and it give off a waste called oxygen (O2). The plant takes in water (food) through the roots, it takes in sunlight and carbon dioxide through the stomata. After it makes glucose and oxygen.
