Who is Ed Manansala?
Ed Manansala, Ed.D., currently serves as the Deputy Superintendent of Educational Services at the El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) since 2013. Prior to this, Ed served in Sacramento City Unified School District, where he worked as Interim Chief of Staff. He has also served as the Superintendent, Principal, and Director of Strategic Partnerships with St. Hope Public Schools in Sacramento. He obtained his Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of California, Davis, in March 2011 and his Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1998. Ed firmly believes that an excellent education is the most critical lever for all communities to help children fulfill their potential. Ed and his wife have three children, and he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and long distance running.
