Bode Miller

Bode Miller is a 2005 2008 world cup champion. MIller was born in the White Mountains with to "hippie" parents. They lived in the woods with no electricity or running water. His parents divorced and his mother took him to a Cannon Mountain while she worked. He was left with the ski staff while his mother worked. At age 11 Miller started skiing competitively.

Miller's feelings about Christin

Bode miller felt bad for the interaction he had with Christina Cooper. Miller misses his brother very much. Christine Cooper eventually brought Miller to tears, and he huddled on the ground in tears.

Miller understood that it wasn’t Christin’s fault and felt bad for all the things people were saying to her. He tweeted” I appreciate everyone sticking up for me. Please be gentle w christin cooper, it was crazy emotional and not all her fault. #heatofthemoment.” They switched interviewers by the time Miller came back. They made sure the questions we not as personal and pushy.

Ski equipment

-Boot: They wear reinforced plastic boots. The soles are raised to increase the ability to increase the ability to pressurize the ski.

-Gloves: Leather gloves made with synthetic material. Slalom gloves have a plastic forearm guard to protect from skiing through gates

-Goggles: Goggles protect your eyes against weather, glare and the effects of speed on the eyes.

-Helmet: A helmet protects you from falling injuries or etc.

-Poles: The poles are curved to fit around the body to reduce air resistance

-Skis: Skis are made of a lot of material, wood, composite fiber. Designed to go through wear and tear

-Suits: Skin tight racing suits are worm to reduce air resistance.

-Bindings: Bindings are the link between the boots and the skies. Safety bindings will release when the torsion or impact is strong enough.
