Band, Choir, Orchestra, Leadership, Tech Lit, Social Studies Dept. have done a great job to make this an amazing ceremony for our Veterans. Please come and join us.
Our Keynote speaker is Col. Gary T. Smith.
We would love for you to join us. Also, come and view our Wall of Honor. These are just a few of our submissions. All those who submitted last year, will also be on the wall. Thanks to all who took time to share.

Parent University Thursday, November 10th

November 10, Thursday * 1001 W. Danforth * EPS District Board Rooms
Local experts volunteer their time to address topics of interest to parents of children ranging in ages from 4 to 18 and Pre-K to senior year. Thirteen different sessions begin 6:00, 6:50, and 7:40 pm. Attend one, two, or three presentations.

Summarization & Generalization Tips for Parents
Please click on the link below, as it has Marzano's Academic Vocabulary List by Content Area and by Grade Level. These words build upon each other for more in depth knowledge and understanding of the content areas. Teachers are incorporating Building Academic Vocabulary into all of their lesson plans. Teachers are building academic word banks for students. Some students are being enriched and others reaching back to solidify understand of words they missed in previous grades and/or content areas. Students should be able to recognize, understand, apply, synthesize, and evaluate the words in context of the subject area. I've included words K-12. Feel free to use for your elementary and high school age students, as well.
