Feminist Movement
The Feminist Movement was a series of political campaigns for reforms on problems like reproductive rights, domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay, women suffrage, sexual harassment, and sexual violence. All of these fall under the label of feminism and the feminist movement.
Latino movement
Quest for a Homeland" is a quote that was said during this time. The quote examines the beginnings of the movement by profiling Reies Lopez Tijerina and the land grant movement in New Mexico in 1966 and 1967.
Native American movement
AIM was initially formed to address American Indian sovereignty, treaty issues, spirituality, and leadership, while simultaneously addressing incidents of police harassment and racism against Native Americans forced to move away from reservations and tribal culture by the 1950s.
Counterculture movement
This was an anti-establishment cultural phenomenon that developed first in theUnited States and the United Kingdom. It then spread throughout much of the Western world between the early 1960s and the mid-1970s, with London, New York City and San Francisco.
