Obamacare Website Getting Major Makeover
You heard it here first and..... I'm SCARED!!!
Remember when Healthcare.gov rolled out in 2013 there were enrollment problems, the design literally forced customers to create an account verifying their information before they could shop which was not the way it was originally presented and let's not even talk about the hours upon hours people waited and still didn't get information.
From what I understood today, the new site is in final testing (I wonder how much it costs consumers) and the new tools and upgrades are expected to be live on November 1. It is also suppose to function on smartphones and tablets. (LET me caution you right there.... don't be too quick to do it on those devices).
You want to take your time and look at all the options when going through Healthcare.gov.
One feature I will be curious to find out if it does work is this: Users are supposed to be able to plug in their doctors, hospitals and medications and see what plans cover them.
I just wrote a guest article for an online community today and I strongly recommend that you ask your primary care physician now, which plans will they be covered under when the 2016 enrollment opens.
I can hear the news stories now. I'd like to know was the previous website ever completely fixed and paid for... Can anyone reading this elaborate on that?

Low Cost Health Insurer in Colorado is Facing an Uncertain Future
This is why you need to stay on top of what is happening when it comes to Health Insurance.
Colorado's BIGGEST nonprofit health insurer is facing an uncertain future. Bottom line they are not self-sustaining. Now this organization has 80,000 or so customers who don't know whether their insurer will even be allowed to offer 2016 policies when open enrollment starts in about three weeks.
The federal government has said they WON'T be able to cover payments to help stabilize premiums in the health care law's insurance markets.
So if you used Colorado HealthOp last year what do you do?
(1) Get on the phone with them ASAP.
(2) Confirm that your current insurance policy ends at the end of the year.
(3) Contact the INSURANCE company directly and find out what your options are with them. Meaning will they be a part of the open enrollment period regardless of what happens with Colorado HealthOp.
(4) Talk with an independent health insurance agent.
As a consumer, you must always be thinking ahead and be solution oriented. Solve your own issue.
*Remember the enrollment period is November 1 to January 31, 2016.

Help Negotiating Hospital Bills!
I was so happy when our company added another feature to our hospital advocacy component.
The component is negotiating past hospital bills as long as they are over $2,500 and not in litigation. There is a one time fee of $250 for them to negotiate the bill. This is for new members that use our medical plan or combo plan.
I have seen hospital bills go from $8,170 to $1,225; $7,000 to 0, $3,675 to 0,
They already were negotiating current hospital bills as long as you were a member for three business days and it was over $2,500.
Are you reading this and have a hospital bill that you've been paying on for a while and can't seem to make a dent in it? To get our medical plan is $25 a month and there is a one time registration fee of $20 making it $45.
Are you ready to be relieved of some financial pressure? What if our plan could save you money and you could use that money towards something else? Would that be a relief? I say give it a chance. I'd rather save money and use it towards vacation, another bill or something fun.
