Back to School Student Video
We want to showcase our Norco High School students in our Back to School Video.
- Create a sign saying your student's grade, favorite subject, and what they want to do after they graduate Norco (career, college, trade school, dream job, etc.).
- Snap a picture of your student with their sign (horizontal pictures please).

Student Registration Make-Up Day - Tuesday, August 9, 2022
If you missed your registration and orientation day last week, report to the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at the start of school to complete registration. Students should not attend class until this is completed. Doors to the PAC will open at 7:30am.
Norco High School Staff Welcome Back
We welcomed our staff back on Thursday, August 4th. They spent the day collaborating and building systems of support for our students. The staff is energized and ready to meet the needs of all students. Below is a video recap of our day. We cannot wait to see our students on Tuesday, August 9.

Last Day of Summer Break.
Student schedules will be visible in Q at 12:01am. Due to balancing of classes, your teacher and period may change throughout the week. It is best to check your schedule every morning during the first week of school to make sure there has not been any changes to your schedule. We will do our best to make minimal changes, however it may happen.

Welcome Week Assembly. Only current Norco students and staff will be allowed to attend the Welcome Week Assembly. This event is closed to the public.
Late Start Wednesday's
The first Wednesday of the school year (August 10) will NOT be a late start day. Period 1 will begin at 8:30am. Late start Wednesday's will begin on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
Coombs Triplets Skills USA National Champions
Over the summer, the skills USA team of Grant, Jack, and Nolan Coombs represented the state of California at the National Championships in Atlanta. They competed in Automated Manufacturing Technology and performed brilliantly under pressure. They each won $5,000 as well as a gold medal for winning this competition.
Each one will be studying a different field of Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona.

Summer Assignments
Summer homework is required for select Honors and/or Advanced Placement (AP) courses in the fall of 2022-23 school year (some file dates may be old, but they are still valid and reused year after year, so disregard the date under "Modified").
Students who do not complete the assignments risk earning a zero for that assignment in their fall semester grade.
If your course is not listed, then there is no summer homework assignment
Student ID Cards
ALL Norco High School students MUST have a school issued ID card for the 2022-2023 school year in their possession at all times, everyday. Students who do not have their ID card on them, must purchase a new card for $10. Pictures of school ID on mobile device is not acceptable. Be RESPONSIBLE and have your student ID card on you at all times.

Attendance Policy and Procedures
FREE MEALS FOR THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR
All CNUSD students will receive free meals regardless of their eligibility for the 2022-23 school year.
Please note: Parents are still encouraged to fill out the free or reduced meals application as you may qualify for additional services, such as waived SAT/PSAT fees, CalWORKS, and more. Click here to learn more about

CNUSD Parent-Student Handbook
The State of California requires that all school districts provide parents and guardians with certain notices from the California Code of Regulations, the California Education Code and other laws and regulations relative to the operation of our local public school system. Throughout the year you will receive additional important information from your child’s school. Questions concerning the content of the Parent-Student Handbook should be directed to the principal of the student’s school of attendance or contact the Department of Student Services at (951) 736- 5111. We encourage you to visit your child’s school and to communicate frequently with the teachers and other staff members.
