Apple inc.

Company History
Apple was founded on April 1, 1976, by none other than Steve Jobs and Steve Wazniak in a garage in Cupertino, CA. Apple, from its birth, was meant to bring the technology of a computer to the everyday person in a very simple, easily understood, easily manageable package. It was for this reason that the company was able to grow so quickly and stake a claim in the rapidly growing computer industry. The first computer released, the Apple 1 (seen on the right), was released in 1976 and featured, unlike any previous computer, an easily understandable and user-friendly design that included a keyboard, a logic board, and other user-friendly hardware. Though it did not include a screen, it had a place for one to be plugged in. It was an instant success with customers. To this day, Apple continues to make new user-friendly innovations and is credited for having the most easily understandable computers to date.
About the Icon
Though the now deceased Renaissance man himself, Steve Jobs, co-founded the company with Steve Wazniak, he is credited by both Wazniak and the company as being the one who "sold" the company and got it on its way to becoming the tech giant it is today. Steve, born February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, CA, was always a gifted child. Steve, contrary to what most believe, was not the man behind the technology however. Though he did have a strong knowledge and interest in technology, he was always more so the face and craftsman of the company. He had a great mind that was able to see the future. Steve saw what people wanted and how Apple's computers and technology needed to be shaped. He crafted Apple's products into what they are today: user-friendly, highly advanced, easy to use phones and computers. Steve truly was a Renaissance man. He had an eye for innovation, he was well educated, and most of all, he contributed greatly to the society we have today.
