Learning the Rules of School!
Class Roster
Rules We Came Up With
We are getting used to how the class room runs, but sometimes finding ourselves running in the classroom 😱. This week we worked on coming up with classroom rules. We answered our Question of the Day, talking about different rules we know that would work for our class!
Going Over, Making and Practicing Our Rules
It is important for students to feel as though the classroom is their classroom. We talked about how our classroom is smaller than outside, and some rules that may apply outside do not apply in our classroom. The students helped the teachers decide what rules are for our class, and helped us decorate the poster to put the rules on!
Music With Eytan
Each week we have a musical guest come in to sing with the kids. Eytan is a young man who plays the keyboard who comes to the Preschool classes for some music enrichment. The kids love the live music and a little bit of dancing!
Reading Buddies
Last year we started having the 4th grade students come down and read to our kids. This was a great way to have the preschool become closer with the older students in the school, and is great for early literacy to have as many people read to the students!

A Big Thank You
A big thank you from our team to you all for everything that you do! Ms. Kristin, Ms. Julie and myself are all so lucky to have you as our families and for allowing us to be apart of your children's lives! We work hard to help your children improve and learn but teaching starts at home first and foremost so we wanted to say thank you!
