4th Grade News
Week of May 8th
Service Project
Thank you to everyone who has sent in items for our service project. There is still time to send in items! Please send in items by this Friday. We will bag them next week and present the box to be donated next week at chapel.
Congratulations to the SPARTANS!
Field Day was a huge success despite the cooler temperatures and the rain we had days earlier. The sun was out and the kids had a great time. Congratulations to the Spartans who took home this years victory!
Cooler Found
A green cooler was left at Field Day. Mrs. Juba picked up the cooler and has it. Please send her an email if this is your cooler.
End of the Year Party
We will celebrate the end of the 4th grade year with a party on June 1st. at the Kimble home. The party will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will end at 12:00 p.m. Please RSVP to Mrs. Sontag by next week so that we can get an accurate count for food. The Kimble's have graciously volunteered to provide the food for the party.
Social Studies
We are still working on identifying the 50 states and their capitals. Both homerooms have completed many study tools to help with the fourth grade challenge. Mrs. Juba's homeroom has been concentrating on the Northeast region, and they will be assessed on that region's state and capitals Friday. Mrs. Sontag's class will be assessed on the Northeast and Southwest regions on Tuesday. Again I have provided the link for the song that has helped our students learn the fifty states.

Have a great week!
