HEART ON YOUR SLEEVE
#ENDSTIGMA
Mental health is as important as physical health
Help make teens feel more comfortable talking to counselors by wearing a heart band. By expressing your feelings publicly this will encourage teens to share their feelings with an adult.

Being A Teen is Hard, Why Make It Harder?
There's a huge problem with teens not talking to someone about their feelings. By not talking they are keeping all of those bad feelings inside of them and those toxic emotions end up being shown through bad behavior. My solution is to complete the Heart On Your Sleeve challenge where you wear a heart band on your sleeve to help teens have confidence talking to someone about their feelings.
Teen Depression
One in eight adolescents suffer from depression. Of all of these teens struggling only 30% get help from a counselor. The other 70% just struggle through their pain.
Teens Need Help
Between 25% and 33% of adolescents don't get help and others don't have access to it. Those who do want help feel more comfortable going to the internet than a counselor.
American Depression
50% Americans with depression don't seek out help or treatment for their mental illness.
