Dear Weibel Families,
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! After a full year of virtual learning, FUSD is ready to return back to school. I know this news may bring excitement and anxiety at the same time for many of you. Please know that we will be vigilant and conservative with our safety protocols and restrictions. Weibel will be following the district guidelines with the 2021-2022 COVID-19 Safety Plan (CSP & CPP). Please look out for the superintendent’s newsletters as it has the most updated information regarding our safety procedures.
Due to the safety plans, protocols, and related health and safety measures to mitigate the impact and spread of COVID-19, Weibel will have to make some changes from our previous years.
We will close our Paseo Padre gate and school gates by the staff parking lot during school hours. Please see below on specific details regarding some gate changes.
We will NOT be able to take any parent volunteers at this time. When the restrictions change, this may change.
Parents will NOT be allowed to enter the blacktop in the mornings. Please be ready to say goodbye at the gate.
Our main office will only take in ONE family at a time. We will have signs at the entrance showing how to line up outside. We strongly encourage you to make appointments if you plan on coming to the office.
I thank you in advance for following and cooperating with the changes and more changes to come. During the past year, guidelines and policies changed left and right every other day. I anticipate this school year to be the same. Please be patient and flexible with changes that may come during the year. I look forward to seeing everyone back in person on August 18th.
