Educating every child for confidence today and contribution tomorrow.
A Message From the Principal
DHES Families,
Wow, it is hard to believe next week is the last full week of the school year. We have had many events and activities packed into this last month and the rest of the year is no different. Next week we will see 4th graders go on a field trip and have a special time receiving books written by our 8th graders. We will host a schoolwide BBQ on Wednesday. Take a look at the “Preorder” form if you are planning to attend. Lunch times will be adjusted slightly to help accommodate the increased number of guests. Thursday night we will celebrate with our graduating preschoolers. It is always fun to see this group “walk across the stage” to receive their diplomas. Check the calendar of events for the details for all of our events, information about Field Day, and our 4th and 5th grade year end assemblies.
I want to say that this has been an exceptional year at Dieringer Heights Elementary. We have outstanding students, parents and a dynamic staff. Thank you for caring and helping all of our students grow academically and as community contributors. Thank you for providing them with opportunities to develop great character and skills in leadership and sportsmanship. It has truly been a pleasure serving you. As we look ahead, I want to wish you an enjoyable summer with family and friends.
Thanks,
Kevin Anderson, Principal

Hello!
Field Day is right around the corner and Mrs. Barker needs your help running stations! Please click the correct link to sign up to help. If you have not volunteered in the building yet this year, you will need to fill out a volunteer verification form before Friday, June 16th. You will also need to provide photo identification with the form. You can either show the office staff your ID, or photocopy your ID and attach it to your form when you turn it in.
If all the volunteer boxes are full, we would still love to have your help! As long as you have filled out a volunteer application, just show up the day of, and help out at a station.
Thank you for helping make this day so great for the kids!
