Sumner Attendance Center

5th Grade

Fifth graders will learn about multiplying decimals by a whole number this week. There will be a quiz Friday over lessons 11 & 12.

5th grade assignments for the week can be found here. Homework helpers and videos can be found on the 5th grade website.

6th Grade

This week, sixth graders will reach the half-way point on ratios. There will be a test on WEDNESDAY over lessons 1-15. A review will go home on Tuesday. After the test, 6th graders will begin learning about ratios and rates. There will be a quiz on Monday over lessons 16 & 17.

6th grade assignments for the week can be found here. Homework helpers can be found on the 6th grade website. Videos are being added as I make them.

Any assignment that has a "Please Correct" stamped or written on it can be corrected and turned back in for partial credit. This can be done with assistance from a parent or teacher. The new work must be shown to get credit!

Students who have completed xtramath will receive the math award at the end of the school year. Students may work on this at home. They will need to log in with my email address, their first name, and their PIN which should be given to them this week.

Students may also work on Zearn (5th grade) or Front Row (6th grade) at home for extra practice. Fifth graders should have their username and password for Zearn. The class code for 6th grade is K754LL for Front Row.

If your child needs extra help with math, he or she may come to my room before school. I am at school by 7:40 each morning.
