Celebrate Success!

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
~Winston Churchill

Remember to stop and celebrate the success of all students! Success comes in all shapes and sizes. It all deserves to be celebrated!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Thank you for all of your hard work this school year. This week may be the "official" Teacher Appreciation Week but please know you are appreciated every day. Everyone on the campus of Westside is a teacher in one form or another. We all have little eyes on us at all times. The students are looking at us to "teach" them more than just academics. They see the way we work, our love for others, and how we handle tough situations. Thank you for teaching our little ones every day!

Marvelous May

Marvelous May is finally upon us. This month is jam-packed with activities and celebrations. Please be very observant for people on campus that have not signed in through the office. If something looks suspicious, don't let it slide... call the office. It is imperative that you let Mrs. Penny know what is going on in your classes and also have Janice or me approve any letters going home to parents.

A+ Celebration and Playground Appreciation

Please remind students to wear their Westside shirts or superhero shirt tomorrow for A+ Day. Also, tomorrow night from 4:30-6:30 p.m. will be A+ Celebration and Playground Appreciation. The Archery Team will be selling chicken pilau dinners for $7 to help support them on their journey to Nationals. You may wear your jeans to work tomorrow. Please pair it with your Westside shirt or a superhero shirt.

Please see the modified recess schedule for tomorrow. You all will need to decide how to break up bounce house time and playground time.
