BOMBING IN HAYMARKET SQUARE
RIOT CAUSED BY UNION BOMB
The year is 1886, and a fight has broken out between some members of a labor protest rally and the local police. A bomb was thrown and a policemen killed, but he was not the only one. At the end of the riot, several people were found dead. Unions are now being compared to terrorists, and it is said they are the cause for the chaos in our society.

SHOULD THE LABOR UNION BE ABLE TO GO ON STRIKE?
I do not think the labor union should be able to go on strike. I think that when they do this they are putting themselves, as well as the public in danger. The workers also had an opportunity to find other ways to make money, so it was there choice. We know now that strikes can definitely lead to violence. Strikers once destroyed parts of a railroad and they destroyed lots of property. Some unions didn't allow women to join, and that meant they couldn't speak for themselves. As seen above, there was once a bomb dropped. Because they were so violent, they were seen as terrorists.
