Industrial Revolution
The industrial Revolution began in the late 1760. The Industrial Revolution was a time when they made a lot of machines and inventions. At that time they made the first ever passenger train in the world!!! 9-10 people lived in rule areas and had to drink unclean water witch caused a lot of diseases. Kids had to work at factories for around 12 hours and get little pay. Kids didn't even go to school!!! Back then they didn't no electricity, clocks, and phones. The Industrial Revolution was really rough back then!!!!
Eli Whitney
The invention of Eli Whitney was a man who made the first ever made cotton machine which is called the cotton gin. The idea of the cotton gin is a way to get out seeds faster than hand. The invention actually stopped from 1793-1998, but we still remember his invention today!!!!
Alexander Graham Bell
The invention of Alexander Graham Bell was the first ever made telephone that we us to talk to people from far places without yelling to them. For the awesome invention Alexander Graham Bell got a reward called the U.S. patent for his invention!!!!
Robert Fulton
Robert Fulton was an american engineer and inventor who made the first ever steamboat. The invention was a success for the united states. Robert also made torpedoes to fight against the british royal navy!!! Robert was served under napoleon.
Rough Times In the Industrial Revolution For Kids
When the Industrial Revolution was around kids worked really hard. Kids had to work in factories and some many actually had torha work for 19 hours swift every day. After all of that hard work they only get little pay!!! Then later in 1833 they past the Factory Act that made things improve better. Even though the law was past some of the factories workers didn't pay them at all. Sometimes they don't pay and get away with it. The only day that they get of is on Sunday!!! For kids it was rough in the Industrial Revolution!!!
Working Together
The assembly line is when a group of people has one station and pass it to the next person to make it go faster to get the job done. A lot of tools or knifes were made by people during the Industrial Revolution, they used the assembly line to help. So remember, the assembly line is not just important to us, its a way we do things faster!!!!
