A Note From Mrs. Donnell
Our Sophomore ISTEP+ testing is complete and we will receive results over the summer. We will begin our new ILEARN testing for 3rd - 8th grade next week. Please try to schedule appointments outside of school hours, have your student get a good night’s sleep each night and a well balanced breakfast each morning. This is a new test format for everyone so we are just asking our students to give us their best effort. We appreciate your prayers for the testing to go smoothly.
Today is our mid-term and only 4 more weeks until the 2018-2019 school year is in the books. Many of our Senior High students are off this evening to enjoy fellowship and fun at their annual Jr/Sr Prom. Please say an extra prayer for each of them as they travel to and from the event. Check out our Facebook page to see a few snippets of the event tonight!
We have a lot of exciting things happening in the next few weeks. We hope you can find time to enjoy some of them and fellowship with the CCS family. Look for some exciting information in the next week or so about our upcoming Elementary Summer Enrichment activities.
Blessings,
Mrs. Donnell

Topic: The Simple Gospel that Saves
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 ESV
Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

Better Together
CCS Verse of the Week
"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
Jesus has conquered sin and death! His resurrection gives believers the power to live a transformed life. "Do you believe this?"
