YouTube Approving Videos
YouTube recently made some changes to its educational settings. Teacher now have the ability to "approve" videos for students to be able to access and watch from their Chromebooks. This would be for a video you want to share with students, but would not be sharing whole class from your projector. There are a few things to keep in mind when approving videos, as once a video is approved it is approved for all students in the district. The ITC team has made a helpful Google Drawing below outlining some suggested guidelines to consider.
YouTube Video Approvals
The ITC Team created this Google Drawing as guidelines to consider when approving videos for students to view on their Chromebook (or when signed into their D64 Google Account).
4C's Idea
Great idea from Tony Belmonte, make the 4C's visible and a part of your classroom culture by taping a 4C's reference sign to student desks. If you would like to use the same sign Tony found, here is a LINK to a blog using the image.
Celebrating Success Video
In case you also wanted to share this video with students at some point here is a LINK to the "Meet the Robinson's" scene shown at the last faculty meeting.
