Miracle's Winter 2014 News Letter
New Year New Everything
January 1, 2014 marked many first time experiences for Miracle. Her very first New Year Celebration was spent at church with an electrifying gospel concert. Sleep for Miracle was not an option at this event as she sang along with each performer. As the months progressed, Miracle had many more first time moments including attending her first day of daycare, a wedding, Super Bowl Party, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, March Madness Watch Parties, and she even had her first beach picnic!
Miracle received a jumper and activity mat thanks to a generous “Secret Santa” from Homes4Good. From the moment she got in the jumper, it was hard to get our out of it. She quickly figured how to make the buttons light up and sing as she laughed hysterically each time the jumper made noise and was her favorite pass time while she watched us cook. Miracle has started flipping over and splashing water during bath time. She's still trying to sit up but hasn't mastered it quite yet.
Miracle had an emergency visit before her mom left Houston to the RTC in San Antonio. She had another visit with her mom once in March. It took few days for Miracle to get re-adjusted to her daily schedule when she returned as she was cranky; often waking up crying during the night and wanting to be held.
We are all excited to share so many new experiences with Miracle as we expose her to different places and activities. We can't wait to see what's to come in the next few months with this little bundle of joy.
