The effects of this hurricanes were that the people's homes were destroyed and that many people were injured from the storm.

The Impact It Had

Many people from New Orleans were taken away from their home as they were destroyed. People today still have to rebuild their homes from the catastrophic hurricane.


It took almost 8 years to recover from the hurricane.

What the Hurricane Did to the Environment

The hurricane left New Orleans covered in water and being destroyed with buildings and homes being scrapped.
