Term Two Week One
We are looking forward to a very productive term with lots of different learning experiences planned.
This term we are focusing on improving our persuasive writing and speeches.
Our history focus is on The Australian Government and Science with be taught by Mrs Munn with the students learning about Earthquakes.
Coding lessons begin on Monday. Please return your permission note if you have not already done so.
Assembly has been changed to Monday afternoons at 2.30pm under the COLA. This change has occurred as Coding lessons begin promptly at 9am for one class.
Applications for the Opportunity Class at Wollongong Public School are opened. if you require information please see me.
Years 3-6 have been invited to Bulli High School Performance. This should be a fantastic experience for all students. Please return permission note and money asap.

We are working on providing constructive feedback for our peers.
A note has gone home today about how you can assist your child with preparing their speech. This tasks is compulsory and all students are expected to deliver a speech even if they do not wish to be in the competition.
Participation in public speaking by all students is worthwhile as it assists them to become more confident, clear and focused speakers in public situations. This should improve self-esteem and will assist them in the world beyond school.
Class presentations will occur in Week 5 where students will be chosen to go through to Stage Competition.
Stage competitions will occur in Week 7. From this competition one speaker will be selected to represent our school in the Seacliff COS Competition held at Waniora Public School in Week 9.
