- The district was awarded a $240,000.00 ESSER III Summer School Grant. Ms. Howe, Ms. Shattuck, Ms. Quill, Ms. Henry, and Dr. Villalobos completed this grant on behalf of the district.
- The district has also written two additional grants: the FY23 COPS School Violence Prevention Program (notification in the fall) and the Peer Review Mentor Grant (notification in late summer).
- Graduation - Graduation will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 7 p.m. in the gym.

Open Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year
The Open enrollment application period for the 2023-2024 school year closed at 4:00pm on April 28, 2023. The Holy Hill Area School District will review all applications to identify which applications will be accepted and/or denied based on the space availability approved at the January 23, 2023 school board meeting for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.
Nonresident school districts must send notices of approval or denial via US mail or email no later than June 9, 2023. If the application is approved, the school district must notify the parents of the specific school or program to which the pupil is assigned. If the application is denied, parents have 30 days to file an appeal.
Resident districts must notify applicants if their application is denied no later than June 16, 2023. If the application is denied, parents have 30 days to file an appeal.
Parents of accepted applicants must notify the nonresident district no later than June 30, 2023 if the pupil will attend the nonresident district in the 2023-24 school year. If the parent fails to make this notification, the nonresident district may refuse to allow the pupil to attend the district.
New Immunization Requirements for the
2023-2024 School Year
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has issued updated childhood vaccination requirements, adding the two-shot meningitis vaccine to the list and changing the timing of the shot that protects against tetanus, whooping cough and diphtheria in adolescents. The new requirements are effective at the start of the 2023-2024 school year. Parents can use the student immunization record form attached https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/forms/f0/f04020l.pdf to update your child’s immunizations or complete the waiver section within this form.

Summer Reading Challenge: “Level Up Your Reading” at Germantown Community Library
(Germantown, Wisconsin) The Germantown Community Library invites readers of all ages to “Level Up Your Reading” this summer! The challenge begins on Monday, June 5 and runs through Saturday, August 5. Kids ages 0-12 and teens will receive a game board reading log and spin a wheel for prizes all summer long. Adults can also read to win! The last day to turn in reading logs is Saturday, August 5.
The library will also host a variety of programs for kids, teens and adults June through August. Programs include performers, storytime, video game themed programs, book groups and adult speakers. All programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required for some events. Visit the online calendar for a complete list of programs www.germantownlibrarywi.org/calendar.
A summer kickoff event celebrating the start of the summer reading challenge will be held at the library on Saturday, June 10 at 11:00am – 2:00pm. Celebrate everything Nintendo including Mario Kart races, tasty potions, a Mario Party scavenger hunt and more!
Summer Storytimes run June 13 – July 26. Storytime will not meet on July 4 or 5.
Preschool Storytimes are Tuesdays at 10:00am.
Baby/Toddler Storytimes are Wednesdays at 10:00am.
Join the library for stories, movement and music geared for 3-5 year olds. Storytime will last 25 minutes and end with a craft or activity. Storytime is a great way to introduce growing kids to books, social interaction and lifelong learning.
Teens (ages 12+) are invited to participate in the library’s Photopia Photo Contest during the month of July. All photos will be displayed and prizes will be given to the winning shot. Submit photos in one of the following categories: Hometown Pride, Abstract, Portraits, Literature or Nature. See the Germantown Library website for more information and all teen programs this summer.
