The documents emailed to you on Thursday, Jan. 17, contain information about the sessions, including the schedule of sessions and directions for registering and setting up a user profile in Frontline.
There are no school based activities planned to Teacher Assistants on this day and I encourage all TA's to take advantage of these learning opportunities!
Please contact Dr. Paulette France at Paulette.France@vbschools.com with questions.
Leadership Opportunities
Chimphaven: Pam Jacobs daughter works with Chimphaven, an organization dedicated to "providing and promoting personalized care for chimpanzees (most of whom were retired from biomedical research) by helping them, for their remaining years, live a good life – the chimp life." They are looking to partner with our school to organize skyping sessions for students.
Trantwood the Turtle: A former teacher from Trantwood currently assists with stranded animals. When they found a stranded turtle recently, she asked for the turtle to be named Trantwood and the aquarium agreed! As a result, we are hoping to build a partnership with the aquarium to support Trantwood the turtle. If interested in coordinating this, please let Mrs. Metzger know.
