Senior Dinner
The middle school students did a great job on Friday night serving at the Trustee Dinner. They are such a kind and gentle group that I truly enjoy being around. There were many seniors at the dinner that remember when they were in middle school and serving at the dinner!

February 1st Field Trip
They need to pack a lunch, beverage and snack for the day. Depending on the weather, we may have to eat in the car, so pack the lunch accordingly. They do not need to bring extra money for this trip.
Empty Bowls Fundraiser
If you are interested in in donating a soup, please email Cari and let her know what kind. We also need help taking money at the door, serving soup and cleaning up.
Students and their families are welcome to attend Coffeehouse in the PAC at 7pm after our event. Coffeehouse is an open mic night for students to showcase their talents.
Summer opportunities
In The Classroom
Some of our students are in World Language and taking Spanish this term with Bill Christy. They have learned a lot in the 5 weeks so far!
They are all taking a 2D art class this winter. The projects that they do throughout the class will be on display in the spring, the night of their play in May.
In Science they are studying the importance of fresh water, how we take care of our water supply and what affects it. They most recently made their own water filter and tested the final water to see if their design took any of the contaminates out and now they are treating some plants in the greenhouse with acid rain concentrations and recording their effects.
The students in after school activity are also busy in the greenhouse. With the help of Andre Lutz an upper school Biology teacher, they are taking cuttings and using root hormones to grow more plants from the cuttings. At the end of the term they will be giving the plants to teachers as we head into spring.
