The Landing

Celebrate Recovery For students ages 8-18

Helping our youth with hurts, hang ups, or habits. Not only do we help teens who has drug or alcohol problems, but we also offer classes to deal with anger and self defense. One of our lead directors decided to give back to the community by helping our children learn self defense. Larry Pryor has a black belt and is offering self defense to our students free of charge. Volunteers are hear to help and listen to anything the kids want to talk about. You don't have to have a addiction to be part of this Christ Centered Program. If you have a problem that you just want to talk about we are hear to help. If you have a family member who may have used drugs, or alcohol, or even abuse, we want you to know your feelings are important too. We are hear to help, even if its just home work. The Lords gym and the landing program wants to offer our children a safe place to go to express there feelings and concerns, and to let students know you can have fun in safe environment. Basketball is one activity we found students love, so every day we have adults supervising and working with the children to promote healthy and active living. We do encourage students to learn about the Lord and offer prayer services daily.
