My family is from the area (Abilene, Aledo, and Breckenridge).


Where did you grow up (hometown)?

Abilene (mostly) lived in Hamby.


If you attended or are attending college, where did you go?

Tarleton and graduated Hardin Simmons


If you are a teacher, where have you taught previously? If you are not a teacher, what other jobs have you held prior to coming to BISD?

Goose Creek CISD and Hubbard


Describe your favorite teacher growing up.

She was inspiring and loved us dearly


What was your favorite subject in school?

English and Science


Why did you choose education as a career choice?

Truthfully, so I could be an influence and because I could spend summer with family


What does success look like in your classroom?

The students learn something, even if it is just how to listen and learn to share their opinions in a way that encourages others to respect them.


What is your favorite thing about Breckenridge ISD?

It is a caring place to live.


What advice do you have for students?

Come prepared to learn and understand that your teachers want you to be successful, not just at school but also in life.
