Los Ninos Life Skills Soccer Program - Register Soon!!

The Life Skills Soccer Program combines soccer and a research-based curriculum developed by Dynamic Sports to teach valuable life skills to youth ages 5-12. Players in the program are introduced to a new positive character strength each week such as Focus, Effort, Grit, Self-Control, Goal Setting, Respect, Responsibility and Cooperation. This high energy program provides the perfect environment for players to develop the important life skills and mental tools while they have fun playing soccer.

Program Format

First Touch Sports and Chesterfield United FC through a partnership with Chesterfield County Public Schools and Chesterfield County Parks and Rec partner with area elementary schools to provide after-school soccer two days per week at participating elementary schools. Each school has a Teacher Coordinator and a coach from Chesterfield United FC.

On Saturdays, players compete with their elementary school team against other schools in a recreation soccer league with games played at Bensley Park.

The cost for the Los Ninos Life Skills Soccer Program is $65 for new players. The cost for returning players with game jerseys from the fall is $50. Note - returning players paying $50 will not get game jerseys.

Payments may be made in Cash, Money Order or Check. Please make checks payable to Chesterfield United FC.

Spring Season

After-School Soccer begins the week of March 30, 2015. Practices will be immediately after-school for 75 minutes twice per week. Specific days for practice will be determined at a later date based on the availability of the Teacher Coordinator(s) and CUFC coaches.

Parents will be given a time to pick up their child at the end of the program. Children not picked up at the correct time will receive a warning and after the second failure to pick up a child on time, they will be dismissed from the program.

Our Teacher Coordinators have families and commitments of their own, so they need all kids to be picked up on time so they can leave school at the designated time.
