Ensuring that all of our team has received Great Expectations PD is an important Centennial campus site goal; this is needed to continue the tradition of excellence at Centennial. Thank you!

A Note from Ellie
Hi, Buffalos!
I'm writing this from a hotel in Atlanta, preparing to attend the 88th Birthday of my precious and amazing MIL, June Webb! (Over 100 family members and friends are expected to be in attendance for her party... we are very grateful to have this opportunity to spend time with --and celebrate--this wonderful matriarch!) Jim and I arrived last night at the Atlanta Airport with Amanda, Ryan and the girls meeting us after arriving on a separate flight. (Other family members arrived earlier.) Have you ever experienced the Atlanta Airport at night? It's an adventure, I'll just say that. Anyway . . .
Stephanie Bruehl, our truly incredible PTO Leader, kept me abreast of the great things happening at Family Fun Night on Friday! Photos and video will be shared in this Tuesday's newsletter!
(I did not want to miss this, but as family had scheduled this and it was beyond my control, I knew that, to keep family as priority, I had to. It also taught me that from this point forward, I'll inform family of any blackout dates for me for the coming school year!)
BIG THANKS to Kylie, Brittany, our office team and to all who helped to make this night a very memorable and fun night for our Centennial students and families.
WE HAVE:
- just 5 more Mondays to positively impact Centennial students this school year!
- 24 schools days to love and teach them well!
Finishing Strong: The 5-Week Countdown!
CHALLENGE:
Select 3-5 habits you're committing to so you finish the school year strong with a positive impact and outlook- drinking enough water
- getting 8 hours of sleep nightly
- enjoying daily exercise
- continuing to greet students at the door
- creating memorable learning moments until the last day, or
- writing one positive parent note each day, (etc.!)
Finally, classroom teachers received a walkthrough form of GE implementation practices observed on the various and brief walks Angie Sheffield has completed this year.
The purpose of the feedback is to show us where our individual strengths and opportunities for implementation lie. We know that every piece of the Great Expectations program is evidence-based and will move our students where we want them to go, and the more we align what we do with GE, excellence will continue to be the norm at Centennial! Please let me know if you have questions or suggestions for improving this coaching process. Thank you!
Thank you, wonderful Buffalos!
Together, it's going to be an EXCELLENT Week!
I appreciate you!
Ellie
