Week of August 24-28
Great First Week Panthers!
Arrival and Dismissal ran much smoother as last week progressed. We did have a few days with the lightning alarm so we moved to rainy day dismissal procedures for safety. Here are just a few reminders that can help us run even smoother next week.
- If you are walking your child up to the drop off gate, please park in the East parking lot in front of the flagpole and take the sidewalk around the school. Just follow the paw prints. Pedestrians cannot cross from the North parking lot due to parent drop off traffic.
- Please ensure your child has a mask and is ready to exit their car as soon as they have their temperature check. This has really helped to keep the line moving and all students to enter prior to the morning tardy bell. (No drop off students were tardy this week as it took a little longer to get our new procedures streamlined.) We have amazing parents and staff who helped this all run so smoothly.
Have a great week and please look over the important information and due dates below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT WALKERS
- Students riding bicycles are considered walkers
- Students who walk from school to their homes or parents' nearby employment are walkers
Students are not walkers if they are walking to the parking lot to be picked up by a parent in their car. These are car riders and car riders must use the car rider pick up line for dismissal. If you do not wish to wait, you can line up around 3:00 or 3:05 PM to avoid a longer wait time in the parent line.
Also, remember that dismissal begins with our Littles first and upper grades come out behind them.
Keep in mind, wait times will be slightly longer on the first few days due to the newness and students learning dismissal procedures. Thank you for your patience. You are the best parents!
