Go, Fourth!
News and tidbits from the 4th grade class at HRRS.
October 2, 2015
I hope today is a restful day for your family. Some of you will be at the second cross country meet tomorrow; Go Hawks! Others, like myself, will be out cheering on your child's football team. Practices for the dancing at our annual Hispanic Heritage event will be starting soon. We have an active bunch of kids.
Teacher Excellence Day 2015 took place yesterday at St. Charles Borromeo. We shared mass, a meal, two break-out sessions and more with 400 teachers from the Archdiocese. It was an enriching and challenging day. One of my favorite parts was learning more about Zentangle, a method of drawing that I look forward to teaching in our classroom soon. (See my first "tangle" from the workshop in the photo above).
Thank you for your participation in our chocolate sale fundraiser and for turning in the money promptly. Good job everyone. I'm anticipating hearing how much money was raised for our school.
