HOLIDAY WISH - submit by Wednesday, December 2

Last year, Wangenheim did it's first ever holiday wish campaign. We asked students to fill out a wish they had for the holidays and we got responses that ranged from a bag of hot Takis to world peace to a new art kit or journal to a gift for a younger sibling. Wangenheim staff and ASB worked together to try to fulfill student's wishes.

This was a wonderful celebration of the season and we want to try this again this year, where everyone can use a little extra care. Please submit the form below by December 2 with a "wish" for yourself or even someone else, and we will see if we can make it come true.

Do you need a desk?

If you need a desk to do your schoolwork, please fill out the Holiday Wish above. We will do our best to make your wish come true.

WISH GRANTER

Given the difficult times many students and their families are experiencing, we anticipate many students will have special wishes this year. We have already received almost 200 requests this year. We are hoping to grant as many reasonable wishes as possible. If you would like to share in the joy of giving, please contact Karena Doan, head counselor.

SafetyNet PRESENTATIONS on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4

On Friday, December 4, we are bringing a program to the school called SafetyNet to do schoolwide presentations. This program is done by the Police department and focuses on keeping students safe around their technology use. With virtual learning and more students having access to technology, students are more at risk of exploitation. We really want to make sure we educate the students on how to stay safe and protect themselves. The students will report to the remainder of their periods. Please let students know we will be taking attendance.

YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED AFTER 10 MINUTES. PLEASE DON'T BE LATE.

Please contact Karena Doan and Naomi Paige, counselors, if you have any questions.

Monetary donations received by the Food Bank will be used to purchase food items to be given to those in need. Actual product mix and quantities purchased may vary.
