Revised Last Day of School

May 1 was originally set as a NO SCHOOL Day. We have decided to continue remote learning that day. In addition, we still have one available day to use for teacher in-service that the state provided us for remote learning.

Therefore, the final day of Remote Learning (Last day of School) will be Wednesday, May 27.

Student Materials

We understand that our students left many of their materials in their lockers, cubbies, and desks. Next week, our staff will be coming in to gather student materials to be placed into a bags and labeled. During the week of May 4, we will be delivering the materials to families. More information about the delivery will come out next week.

Kindergarten Registration- Register Today!!!

If you have or if you know of someone who has a child entering kindergarten next year, please contact the school to pick up a registration packet. We are already in the planning stages for next year and want to get an idea of how many students to expect to join our Millburn Mustang crew.

School Community Parade

You might have heard schools doing parades in the neighborhoods to bring joy and excitement to students. We would like to jump in with that excitement but in a different way.

On Friday, May 8, staff members at both Millburn Elementary and Middle School will be gathered in the parking lot of Gurnee Mills. Families will then be able to come and drive through the parking lot to wave to staff members with their families.

We are working with Gurnee Mills and the Gurnee Police Department to make this a successful event. Gurnee Mills is providing the parking lot between Macy's and the old Sears for us to use. Gurnee Police will be present to help with traffic flow.

We anticipate that we will need to stagger families to come at certain times. Once we finalize our plans, we will share the times with you.

Thank you Notes to Local Heros

Representative Lauren Underwood is collecting "Thank You" notes from our district so that she can send them to local essentials workers. Please take a moment to complete the form below with a special "Thank You" to those heroes on the frontlines during this pandemic.
