This is a reminder that there is no school tomorrow. We can't wait to see everyone on Tuesday!

Morning Drop Off

Students should not be dropped off prior to 7:25. We do not have staff available to be on duty until that time. Please help ensure the safety of your child and the rest of our students and drop off at 7:25.

21st Century Leadership After School Program

CREC Arts Middle is pleased to announce that the 21st Century Leadership Academy After-school Program has an anticipated start date of October 9, 2018. We will run programming Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday from 3pm – 5pm. The 21st Century Leadership Academy ends in late May (final date to be announced in the Spring).

News from the office

Student Absences: As the season of colds approaches, it's important to be sure to know what to do in the event that your child will be out sick. If your student needs to be absent to school, there are three ways to let us know!

  1. Email us at (preferred method of notification)

  3. Send in a note on the day your child returns

CT Fitness Test Schedule

  • Tuesday, October 9th - Students in Mrs. Giuliano, Mrs. Delorm, Ms. Ruiz, and Ms. Dickinsen's homerooms
  • Wednesday, October 10th - Students in Ms. Videtto, Mrs. Schroyer, Mrs. Jones, and Mr. Robbins' homerooms
  • Thursday, October 11th - Students in Mrs. Scapallati, Mrs. Petersen, Ms. DeAngelis, and Mr. Jarvie's homerooms

Physical Education - CT Fitness Test

For all parents of 6th and 8th graders:

It's that time of year again!! We will be beginning the CT Fitness Test which is mandated statewide. Students should bring running sneakers, short, or sweats. They can also bring water bottles when it's time for the mile run. The test has four parts: mile run, push-up, curl-up, and sit-n-reach. Each test has statewide standards for boys, girls, and age groups. The standards are listed below:

Age 11: 9, 15, 7, 12:00

Age 12: 9, 18, 7, 12:00
