Keeping the Faith and Keeping Connected

December 12, 2019

But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” which means, God with us.

Elementary and Secondary Gingerbread House Competition

We had a great Gingerbread House Competition on Friday, December 6th. We had about 30 elementary and secondary students compete. The students outdid themselves in expressing their creativity on the Gingerbread Houses. Thanks to all the parents and teachers that stayed and helped make this a great event.

Winter Showcase Recap

Monday, December 9th truly was a showcase of Heritage Academy talent. We had groups sing, act, and do much more. Events like this would not take place without the hard work of our great Heritage Academy teachers and the parents partnering with us. Thank you for making this night a great success.

COMOGives Information

The Board of Trustees has pledged to match $1000.00 given through COMOgives.com. Gifts of all sizes are needed (minimum is $10). So we are encouraging staff, teachers, students, parents, grandparents, and friends of Heritage to give something through this end-of-year giving campaign. The more participants involved, the more likely we are to rise in the leader board or receive a special grant.

Go to the following link to donate today or until December 31, 2019.

Old School Values, New School Schedule

Heritage Academy is a University-Model® School, facilitating students' access to excellent education, increased time with family, and opportunities for growth toward maturity while providing a cost-effective, college-preparatory education. In an age where family life is becoming increasingly fragmented, the unique structure of the model also serves to “turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers ” (Malachi 4:6).
