Ready for stormy weather
Our students participated in a tornado drill this past Thursday as part of the statewide Severe Weather Awareness Week. Over the course of the week, we had announcements about watches and warnings. We also made sure that our locations are safe for the students. These drills are untimed and don't have loud alarm noises. We are notified of watches and warnings via the WeatherBug in our office and the National Weather Service. We will notify the classrooms via our PA system by Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Shannon.

Forward Wisconsin
Our third and fourth graders have practiced using the technology tools for the Forward Wisconsin Assessment. The test allows the kids to use tools such as underlining, highlighting , crossing out unnecessary information etc. There was also a video by the DPI that assisted the kids with getting more familiar with the testing process. They will be ready as they begin to take the test next week.
Box Top Winners
At our assembly, and with the help of Mrs. Ramus and her team of Box Top counters, we announced the names of the children (they received certificates) and classes who brought in the most boxtops. It is fun! Thanks so much for all of your participation.
