CHHS Business Professionals of America students participated in the Area 1 Region 1 BPA Regional Leadership Conference on Saturday, January 16. Fourteen members are State Qualifiers and will be competing in the State Leadership Conference in Corpus Christi in March!

CHHS Debate Team
We congratulate the following members of the CHHS debate team for their performances this past weekend. Will Watson and Arsh Ladhani placed fourth in the Class 6A District 7 UIL CX debate district tournament, earning the first points for CHHS in the Academic District meet.
Eesha Charaniya, in her first varsity competition, won the Varsity Lincoln Douglas division at the Richardson tournament, beating out 38 other debaters in doing so. Miranda Nutt and Marina Leventis were in the semifinals of the Public Forum debate division which featured 48 debaters.
Miranda & Marina, along with their teammates, Aleena Jamal & Alina Shivji, will travel to Atlanta this next weekend to compete in the prestigious Emory University Barkley Forum for High Schools debate tournament tournament. In three weeks, they will also participate in the College Preparatory School Round Robin, featuring 14 of the top teams in the country. They will cap off that weekend debating in the University of California Berkeley high school tournament, featuring over 350 Public Forum teams from around the country.
CHHS Wrestling Team
The team will compete next at the district tournament held on February 6th at Lewisville High School.
CHHS Girls Soccer
Girls soccer began their season with a game against Trinity High School on Tuesday.
Varsity Girls kicked off their season with a win against Trinity. Allie Lumpkin scored our first goal of the season. Other game goals also scored by Allysa Clevland and two goals scored by Shine Pickler with a final score of 4-1.
JV- Tied their game against Trinity 1-1. The goal scored by Jamil Okada.
