Cost estimates to develop that new library site and for a basic building have come in much higher than we expected.

Therefore, we are looking at alternatives that could be more economical. These include locating the library on a site already equipped with utilities, re-purposing an existing building, or using alternative building methods such as modular.

Our goal is to build the very best facility that our community can comfortably fund and support.

Your questions and suggestions are welcome. Please contact Brooke Pederson at bpederson@upperskagit.lib.wa.us.
