Monday Morning Memos - October 17 - October 21, 2016

Happy Monday!

First, thank you to Nicole Enger for conducting our Differentiated Instruction session and Book Talk - Growing Readers - on Thursday. I know you would agree with me that she is a pure gem here at CFA! I hope you learned a lot on Friday during our district inservice. I look forward to hearing all about your sessions during our faculty meeting Monday afternoon.

After our half-day planning day on Thursday, followed by our District Inservice Day on Friday, I hope you had a wonderful, restful Saturday and Sunday! Mine was just a bit crazy, but at least it was beautiful outside. That always makes things better.

As you can see below, we have quite a busy week ahead of us - which includes Saturday! If you haven't done so already, please consider joining our CFA Rack Pack Team for Walk for Life. If you cannot walk please consider supporting our team with your donations. In honor of the walk, let's don our favorite pink shirts with our favorite (but appropriate) pair of jeans on Friday. I will share this with students at our community meeting as well.

Make it a great week!

Two GREAT articles that I read this weekend: Lesson Plans vs. Lesson Design and What Keeps Students Motivated. I think you will find them both insightful and, most of all, helpful!
