Learning Design
PBL @ Austin
Pictured above are 4 3rd grade learners presenting a proposal to the PTO for funding for a field trip. This stemmed from a PBL unit designed by 3rd grade where kids brainstormed, researched, planned, and presented their own ideas for a field trip (including budget and scheduling). I especially like the interdisciplinary design of this unit. Way to go 3rd!
You may have also seen several future doctors, astronauts, principals, and soldiers around the building as Kinder worked on their PBL this week. :)
