High School Cadets we need your help!

The Back to School Resource fair is a success largely due to the many community members who generously give of their time (and labor) leading up to and at the fair.

There are many opportunities to volunteer leading up to the fair as well as on the day of! Please sign up using this LINK or contact Laura Bowles ( for assistance.

Fairfield PAL Teen Center Job Opportunity!

The Fairfield PAL Teen Center is hiring PEER Violence Interrupters!

Work part time (20 hours per week) within PAL programs to support the Alive & Free violence #preventionframework. Training and job coaching provided.

Certain restrictions apply.

Boot Camp Dates

This is a MANDATORY event for both new and returning cadets. Cadets who do not attend, will be required to complete a make-up session to be scheduled during the school year (2022-23).

All NEW Cadets entering grades 5 - 12

  • Monday, August 1st: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (check-in 7:45AM)

  • Location: At PSA 230 Atlantic Ave.

Boot Camp Uniform: white t-shirt (no V-neck), navy blue shorts, white socks, and solid white athletic shoes (see website for athletic shoe examples). Please put your cadet’s last name in the middle of the t-shirt (both front and back) in black lettering. Please bring a sack lunch, bottle of water.

All Returning Cadets: Boot Camp refresher (Mandatory)

  • Tuesday, August 2nd: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM = Grades 6 and 7

  • Tuesday, August 2nd: 12:45 PM - 4:45 PM = Grades 9 and 10

  • Wednesday, August 3rd: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM = Grades 8, 11 and 12

Cadets are expected to wear their PSA P.E. uniform or P.T. gear and athletic shoes. In addition, please bring a bottle of water and a healthy snack to boot camp.

Unable to attend Boot Camp on scheduled date?

Rescheduled Boot Camps will be held during the school year.

Information session will include topics on PSA expectations, school culture, family events, important dates, and Aeries Parent Portal to access student grades.

RETURNING Parent Information Session [VIRTUAL]

  • Wednesday, August 3rd 6:00pm-6:45pm

Information session will include topics on PSA expectations, school culture, family events, important dates, and student supports.
