What's Happening in the Eagle's Nest?

APTT Meetings

APTT meetings for preK are January 13. Kindergarten APTT meetings are January 17.


We have a SAC (School Advisory Council) meeting at 3:30 pm in the media center on January 14.

Report Cards

Report cards will be sent home January 16.

After School Event

Flyers went home last week for an upcoming after school spectacular. It's on Thursday, January 16 until 5:00 pm. The cost is $5 to attend and snacks are an additional charge. Please stop by the front office if you need a form!

No School

There is no school on Monday, January 20.

2nd Quarter Awards: Save the Date!

January 23:

Kindergarten at 8:30 am

1st Grade at 9:15 am

2nd Grade at 10:00 am

January 24:

3rd Grade at 8:30 am

4th Grade at 9:15 am

5th Grade at 10:00 am

Save the Date: Student-Led Conferences

Save the date for February 6. We will be inviting you in to meet with your child as they discuss their progress and goals with you! A grade level schedule will be shared in the near future.

FSA Testing Dates

3rd Grade Reading: April 1-2

4th and 5th Grade Writing: April 1-2

4th and 5th Grade Reading: May 5-6

3rd-5th Grade Math: May 7-8

5th Grade Science: May 13-14

Read, Read, Read!

Reading at home with your child promotes their academic success! Did you know your child can take AR tests from a computer or even your cell phone? Email me if you would like your child's log in information. Hundreds of thousands of books have quizzes available on AR. Students will earn points and we will celebrate their accomplishments! This is for students in K-5.
