SHISD Mid-Week Message

Weekly Superintendent's Message for Spring Hill ISD

The Great Kindness Challenge

SH Junior High took The Great Kindness Challenge last week. The challenge is done Nationwide. Junior High Students encouraged their classmates with kind words, wrote letters to teachers, custodians, janitors and their parents. They were also challenged to complete 50 kindness challenges in the week. SHJH Principal David Lynch saw the benefits of students stepping out of the normal routine and comfort zone to go out of their way to help their fellow student. Overall the students enjoyed the efforts of the week and hope to continue throughout the year. This is a great example of the well-rounded students we have at Spring Hill ISD. I hope the students enjoyed the week and were impacted by the events.

I just wanted to thank everyone that contributed to my diaper shower last year. Elliot is almost five months old and we just had to buy diapers for the first time this weekend. What a huge gift! Thank you all! As you can see Elliot is grateful too!! - Emmie Drueckhammer
Congratulations to Cathy Reed on the birth of her newest grandbaby. Elliot Kate was born January 28, 2018. She was 8lbs 14oz and 20 1/2 inches long.

Congratulations Kendall!!!

This is a picture of my son Kendall's latest award. He is a captain in the air force. He was chosen as Company Grade Officer of the year at the group level. He's up for the same award at the wing level. He will find out next Friday if he is chosen.
