Today you' re going to learn about a gorillas habitat, diet, and the description of a Gorilla. We hope you learn about these wonderful creatures and see them for the peaceful animals they really are!
Habitat
Gorillas live in rainforests in central Africa. They make nests every night to replace the old one. Some Gorillas live in lowland in bamboo forests. Gorillas also sometimes live near swamps.
Description
Gorillas are large apes. Adults stand about 6 feet high. They have black, brown, or grey hair. Silver hair grows on older males backs. Gorillas also have strong, heavy bodies.
Diet
Gorillas eat fruit, wild celery, and bamboo. They eat 66 pounds daily. They also eat leaves, bark, flowers, insects, and snails.

- There are 2 species of Gorillas: Eastern and Western.
