The Importance of Having Dairy in Your Diet


Dairy foods are so important because you get lots of great nutrients from dairy products, like calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A, and protein just to name a few. It also protects you from osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a diseases that causes you to have weak bones, and lose minerals from your bones. To protect yourself from this deadly diseases you can build a healthy set of bones while your young, eat a healthy diet, and live a healthy lifestyle. Here are 5 healthy food choices for you:

  • Drink low-fat or non-fat milk
  • Fruits- oranges, grapefruits, strawberries
  • Vegetables- spinach, tomatoes, green beans
  • Salmon
  • Sardins
