The School Leadership Team:
Steele Creek Welcomes Assistant Principal, Tamara Looney!
Greetings Steele Creek Families,
As the new assistant principal of Steele Creek, I am both honored and excited to serve the students, staff, and families of our school community. I look forward to partnering with you as we continue the work of providing students with a positive and supportive learning environment in order for them to feel empowered to achieve their future endeavors.
I have been a member of the CMS school community for the past nine years. In that time, I have served in various capacities such as teacher, academic facilitator, and dean of students. Each of those roles provided me with unique learning opportunities that have shaped me into the leader I am today. Despite the various positions held in the past and the ones I will hold in the future, I will always be a teacher at heart. Witnessing a child’s excitement when they learn something new encourages and energizes me to stay focused on the important work of creating an environment where all students may experience success. I have been and will continue to be committed to ensuring every child feels cared for, valued, and empowered to succeed in all their heart desires.
I look forward to serving our school community and doing all I can to safeguard Steele Creek as a great place to teach and learn.
Sincerely,
Tamara Looney
