Destination Imagination
How can we get kids excited about learning? With a program like Destination Imagination (DI) which encourages the application of creative problem-solving techniques and tools while developing creative and critical thinking skills.
Destination Imagination is an educational experience in which students form teams to solve challenges, learn how to research, and to apply what they have learned, without adult interference. DI offers Team Challenges in: Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational, Engineering, and Service-Learning. Teams meet at least once a week after school for about five months, then they present their Team Challenge solutions to appraisers at the regional tournament at The Woodlands High School, February 24, 2024.
If your child is interested in making the commitment to participate in Destination Imagination, and/or you are willing to make the commitment to be a team manager or to support your child’s team, please attend a Parent Information Meeting on Monday, September 21, 2023, at 6:00pm in the Clark Intermediate library.

Family Changes Group
Your child does not need to be experiencing problems to benefit from the group. As children move through each developmental stage, different issues/feelings concerning separation, divorce and remarriage arise and may need to be addressed. It is helpful to take advantage of any opportunity to open lines of communication for your child.
The group will meet during Smart Time every other month, so your child will not miss any classroom instruction. You will receive an email from the counselors to let you know the exact time and date once the groups have been made.
If you are interested in having your child participate in one of our groups, please fill out the information below and submit the form online. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Grief and Loss
Your child does not need to be experiencing problems to benefit from the group. As children move through each developmental stage, different issues/feelings arise concerning the loss of a loved one. It is helpful to take advantage of any opportunity to open lines of communication for your child. The group will meet during Smart Time every other month, so your child will not miss any classroom instruction. You will receive an email from the counselors to let you know the exact time and date once the groups have been made.
Please note this group is not for the loss of a grandparent unless they were also a direct caregiver. Please feel free to reach out to the counselors if your child needs support with the loss of a grandparent as we would be happy to work with them on an individual basis. If you are interested in having your child participate in one of our groups, please fill out the information below and submit the form online. Transportation Information
Things to keep in mind -
- CISD does not offer transportation to students who live less than a mile from the campus.
- Parents or guardians must submit an Alternate Stop Request Form each school year for service to an alternate stop. Students who are not eligible for transportation services may not be allowed to request or utilize an alternate stop. Parents can request an alternate stop when you register your child for transportation.
- Transportation cannot change addresses for students. Please contact our PEIMS Clerk, Mrs. Lawless (adlawless@conroisd.net) for address changes or corrections. Once the address change has been made, it takes about 48 hours for Transportation to process the change.

SMART Tags
6th Grade students will continue to use their SMART tag badges that were issued during the 2022-2023 school year to load and unload buses.
5th Grade students and students transitioning to new campuses will receive a new badge. These badges will be distributed once the school year begins. CISD will only supply the ID cards as students are expected to use their lanyard and plastic sleeve from the previous year. Students in intermediate school are not required to wear the badge all day, however, they should be connected to the backpack for access on the bus.
