The History of Hard Drives.
Hard Drives used to be restricted to a few megabytes of storage in 1980 and were slow by comparison. These first hard drives were unreliable and slow. Now there are hard drives one or two terabytes in size (a billion times larger) mounted in computers and are just as accessible as external drives. These new modern hard drives are much faster and way more reliable that the old ones in the 1980's.
Hard Drives in the 1980's!
These Hard drives were very slow and not reliable. These also had not much storage.
Modern Hard Drives!
These are much more reliable and are a billion times larger of storage space!
USB Sticks
These are also Hard Drives that you can carry around and have smaller memory! They plug into the computer through the USB plughole!
